Argh. I am frustratingly far behind anyway. Time for another 7,000 word NaNoventure, is what I say. In the meantime I've been writing by hand at work, I got about 1,000 out of that yesterday, not nearly enough but better than nothing.

I've been sick all week, and dealing with awful people I don't even want to think about, let alone talk about. Haven't gone to work except for subbing Monday, and BYB yesterday, but only for a couple of hours. Mostly lying around being depressed/anxious/angry and feeling icky. Today I'm home at Roy's behest because we're both taking tomorrow off to have a date (and she wants me finished being sick). ^_____^;;;

Meanwhile, my NaNo continues to fail.


I really meant to spend some time on it on Tuesday, since I was home sick, but then horrible things happened, and I spent most of the rest of the day either crying or lying on the couch feeling dizzy and generally unhappy.

Speaking of things that I'm way behind on, have some pictures from August! (I'm hoping that catching up to our many Layton Parties - there were at least three - will finally make me put together our GameStop video...>_>;;; Although we're already all over Youtube, now, thanks to YCon. ^^;;; )

4. Got a letter made of total fraud from the International Bartending School, threatening to send me to claims if I don't pay for classes I never signed up for (more not fun)
5. Am so, so very far behind with YCon things, have almost no time left, and zomg I have an assignment tomorrow already, no staying home for me. -_-;;; Should have taken Wednesday off from BYB, too. ARRRRRRRGH~
6. Also, paid for PMX. Uggggggh, $60 I didn't want to spend. And I won't even have a table. FML. Poor Other!Me had an unfortunate sort of day too. It was a bad day for Hugheses. Maes Hugheses, anyway. NOBODY BETTER BE MEAN TO MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER. -shakes fist-

I'm really looking forward to YCon. I'm looking forward to not working for FOUR WHOLE DAYS, and even to the drive, and of course to new costumes, oh, yes. I finally have a really good excuse to run screaming from catgirls (and catboys, since it's YCon). I want coffee and donuts on the morning we leave. I've had a nagging desire to have coffee and a donut and go somewhere for months now...kid you not.

Have to run this by Roy, I only just got PMX's (INCREDIBLY LATE BECAUSE THEY SUCK) e-mail, so I was thinking about it. Maybe I'll just go and enjoy a second weekend of cosplaying. No idea. ...In other news, work. Work and work and more work. Work I like, but still. I need to start sewing for YCon. Srsly. I'm so happy we finished the Layton set for the game release, otherwise I'd be banging my head against something right now.

Instead, I'm playing Diablo.

I made my sisters' hats, though (well, they need bias tape, but that's all)! Waiting on a pattern sale for Mom's scrubs. Almost finished reading the book I'm reading for Megumi's lesson...then I just have to go back and take notes on the chapters. FEELS LIKE HIGH SCHOOL. SO なつかしい.

In other other news, I think I'm getting scarier. -nodnod- Totally strongarmed a rowdy class of 7th and 8th graders with the sheer force of my will today. I'M AWESOME.

Haaa...I meant for today to be productive, but that's been replaced with 'relaxing', and I guess that's good too. It's going to be a busy weekend. At least I get free sushi at work on Sunday. ^_____^ It's the little things, it really is. Sewing will happen - it always does.

I don't know how to explain algebra in Japanese. FAIL. -_-;;; I need to figure out a rule for using gerunds vs. infinitives after verbs, too, because now both Steve AND Mr. Sato want to know. e_e;;; And I hate to be one of those native speakers who just says "...IT'S JUST LIKE THAT, LOLZ".

So much for going to bed on time on Sunday, but that's my fault, I should have done it tonight but I didn't, I was tired and it was a long day and I just wanted to sit. -sigh- I need to adjust, and quickly. This is getting stupid.

Haha~).

So~ Still have to drive out to Torrance to help little Saho with her book report at 4:30 but at least I have the daytime hours to get some stuff done. Which I'm going to start doing. Very soon.
