Just remembered something I wanted to ask the world at large. Nagi's cute pictures of her haircut reminded me.
My hair touches my shoulders now. It looks deceptively short because it does this Komui-flip thing at this length, but it's getting long. O_o;
I've had (really) short hair for so long, I'm not used to seeing my forehead, so now that it's long enough not to look like a mullet, I'm thinking about bangs. Opinions?
This is my hair right now:

...Just long enough for a good ponytail. I should flatiron it today and see how long it actually is. BUT I'M TOO LAZY. (I only even own a flatiron because I used it when I cosplayed Sebastien, and because it came free with a curling iron.)
For those of you who are wondering why I ruined all the cosplay I generally do with my own hair so I could have Komui hair instead, I'm growing it out so it can be pulled back into a bun/high ponytail. Pulling or otherwise slicking hair back almost NEVER looks good on a wig.
But then I realized that stupid Kanda has BANGS, anyway:

And I use my own bangs when I wear my Miranda wig.

...I really wish real people hair could be made to do that 'long bangs in the middle but they never get in my eyes' thing.
I just really think that Miranda's v3 uniform ponytail and Kanda's ponytail will look better with my own hair plus extensions rather than an entire wig, and so I am suffering my hair to be long until I finally get to do my DGM cosplay. I think with a little fussing the same hime-style cut with longish bangs and side layers could work for the both of them.
But! I'm beginning to think I've ruined a lot of pictures with my stupid "OH HAI I don't have short hair anymore" crap-ass cop-out ponytail for no reason because I could probably do either hairstyle entirely with a wig, or a 3/4 wig maybe in Mira's case.
This is a stupid thing to bother posting to LJ about but I'm seriously torn. I really, really miss having short hair. I miss how freakin' GOOD my cosplay looked. I miss being able to cosplay FMA because there's no good way to do Hughes without a real haircut. But I also want to try having long hair for once, since I'm doing a lot of cosplay with wigs lately anyway and because I like being able to pull it back and to not look as awkward in girl clothes.
ARGH BUT IT'S SO ANNOYING. And all my short-haired cosplay is RUINED. -_-;
...So. Bangs? No bangs? Chop it all off and start over? Mohawk? What say you?

Bangs can go either way, I think. (There are fake bangs you could use for the cosplays too.)
And I was thinking about fake bangs~! I've never really used them before though. I hate worrying about wigs falling off and things...
(Also, while I'm talking to you~ Still up for a visit? How does the 16th sound...?)
The Hana-chan bangs are from a place in Fashion District :D a wig shop on Los Angeles St and 11th, I think... (off Los Angeles) ^^; I could walk there from my work place so ... I'll try to remember to bring mine, so you can see the color (mine is #4), you're probably either #2 or #4. There's different styles, but I think this wig shop only has two types; I saw other types in Japan (but they were 3x as expensive @.@)
The place is pretty easy to find, it's the wig shop with bright anime colored wigs XD
And whichever is easier for you~! I'll clean up if you want a break from your house, and you can come over here, or if it's easier to study over there, I don't mind coming over there^^ My work is quite portable. I leave work about 3:15 but I live rather far from my job. However, I work in your direction (from here). If you live walking distance from the fashion district, it might be easier for me to drive up, because at 3:30 405N > 405S for traffic, I think^^ But either way~
